The Canyon High School Band has a rich tradition of excellence with their twirling members. Students are expected to be members of the Canyon Cougar Band Program and have taken Twirling Lessons of no less than 2 years. Auditions will be held at the end of each school year to determine the Twirler Section Leader and the other members of the twirling line. Members of the CHS Twirling program are expected to be in lessons in their time here with the band and to be at every football game and parade as well as participate in the Twirling UIL Solo and Ensemble Competition.
